Finally it's October. It's gonna start cooling down soon, or so I thought. That was my train of thought when I saw the weather this morning. Considering the fact that the weather was in the high 70's low 80's I thought now it's gonna be cold. The weather is going to be in the high 80's low 90's for the rest of this week just like everyday of summer. Some fall this is. In other news I got back from the canporee that I was talking about before. I have to say it was pretty intense. There was 5,500 people there and after doing some math in my head there was around 1,000 semi-hot to hot girls at the camporee.
I would have given my immediate attention in getting 1,000 phone numbers or something along those lines but I already like a girl and she was there. Kayla, that's her name, was with me for around half the time. We had a great just talking about stuff and making jokes and so forth. Sounds like I am reminiscing but that's probably because I am. I was also annoyed by many people while I was there as well. I will not bore you with all the idiots I encountered but I will go into detail about one of them.
Her name is Bianca, Kayla's best friend. Her and I are normally have a good time making jokes and being sarcastic about stuff, which is always good. But as of late there has been a change. I think it was one of those situations where she thinks she knows me well enough to just say whatever she wants but I beg to differ. She has a problem with voicing all her thoughts to the wrong people and that would include me. Now in Pathfinders we have Precision Drilling and Marching competitions every year at what we call Red Zone.
This is where all of the clubs around Florida come and compete. It's not a competition with the other clubs, it's a competition with yourself and the point system. So there can be more many first, second and third places. Bianca and Kayla's church, Winter Springs, has only competed twice and has gotten first place both times. My church, Deltona Spanish, has competed seven times and has gotten first place five times. Bianca comes up to me and basically says " your drill team sucks" and I was quite offended. After she said that I pointed out the statistics of my church to hers and she shut her mouth. Last year we got second place for the second time. This year we are getting first place if not grand prize.
